The short version
- Your voice is turned into text on your own computer. It is never saved and never sent.
- Your account holds only your name, email, profile picture and plan — nothing you say or write.
- Payments are handled by Dodo Payments. We never see your card details.
- There are no analytics or trackers in the app or on this website.
What happens to your voice
While you dictate, your audio is kept in memory only. It is recognized on your PC and then discarded. Your audio is never saved to disk and never sent anywhere — not to us and not to anyone else.
Grammar and spelling fixes also happen on your PC. The text you dictate does not leave your computer.
Your account
You sign in with Google. From Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and we keep them with your plan and its status so you can use ComFlow on your PC and manage billing. We don’t receive your Google password or anything else from your Google account.
When you connect ComFlow for Windows, we store a fingerprint of the app’s sign-in token, the name of the PC you connected it from and when it last checked your plan. The app checks your plan with us from time to time; that check sends only the token — never anything you say or write.
Payments
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, under their own privacy policy. They collect your payment and billing details; we receive only what we need to manage your plan, such as its status, renewal date and billing country. We never see or store your card number.
What is stored on your PC
- Your settings.
- The speech and grammar components ComFlow downloads when you set it up.
These stay in your Windows user folder and are never uploaded.
When ComFlow uses the internet
ComFlow goes online only to download the components it needs, and only when you ask it to. After that it works fully offline. It sends no usage data, crash reports or analytics.
Windows itself, and the Windows components ComFlow uses to show its window, may contact Microsoft independently of ComFlow, under Microsoft’s own privacy terms.
The orb
To draw its glass effect, the orb reads the small patch of screen directly behind it. That image is held in memory only, used to draw the next frame and never saved.
This website
This website uses no analytics and no third-party trackers, and its fonts and images are served from this site. It sets only the cookies it needs: to keep you signed in, to protect sign-in, to show prices in rupees or dollars based on the country your connection comes from, and to remember your cookie choice. Our cookie policy lists each one. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and reliability.
The orb on the home page can react to your voice if you allow microphone access when your browser asks. Your browser only measures how loud the sound is so the orb can move; the audio is never recorded, stored or sent.
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply and to improve ComFlow. We don’t sell it or share it for marketing, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Deleting your data
To delete your account, email us from the address you signed in with. We’ll delete your account data; records of payments are kept by Dodo Payments as the law requires.
Uninstall ComFlow from Windows Settings → Apps. That removes the app, your settings and the downloaded components. Because audio is never saved, there are no recordings to delete.
Children
ComFlow does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how ComFlow handles data, we’ll update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
